High-performance CNMG433-MM carbide turning insert with Korloy’s NC9115 grade.

Designed for medium turning of stainless steel, the CNMG433-MM combines a strong negative insert geometry with Korloy’s MM chipbreaker. The MM geometry features a dual-land cutting edge that balances sharp cutting performance with edge strength, while its wide chip pockets support stable chip evacuation and help reduce built-up edge, cutting force, and plastic deformation.

NC9115 is a wear-resistant CVD-coated carbide grade developed for productive stainless-steel machining. Within Korloy’s NC9100 series, NC9115 is best suited to stable and continuous cutting conditions, where it provides reliable tool life at elevated cutting speeds. It can be used on austenitic, martensitic, and ferritic stainless steels.
