AC820P is a CVD-coated carbide grade engineered to provide a strong balance of wear resistance and fracture resistance when machining steel. It performs effectively across continuous and light interrupted cutting conditions while delivering stable tool life and consistent machining results. Sumitomo identifies AC820P as the predecessor to its newer AC8025P steel-turning grade.
